Maintenance Mechanic (Day/Night Shift)

We are looking to add an individual to our manufacturing team in Houston (Crosby) in our maintenance department (NIGHTS) . Priority will be given to individuals with experience performing maintenance on industrial equipment, with experience in automation/hydraulics.

Shift: 12 hours- Wed-Sat (NIGHTS 7pm-7am) (Days 7a-7p) - Some Split Shifts 

Wage: Depending on Experience + shift premiums

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• 
  Responsible for trouble shooting of machinery to minimize down time
• 
  Responsible for working within/assisting in the development & implementation of PM programs and equipment upgrades
• 
  Record and document time, work order completion information and parts usage on CMMS work order system
• 
  Create work orders and assist in the planning of jobs and projects
• 
  All work performed and completed may require skills such as electrical troubleshooting, Power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum, plumbing, fabrication, and other areas as needed
• 
  Must practice good communication skills with Maintenance Team Members, Production Supervisors and Management
• 
  Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation, Company Joint Health & Safety Programs, and Good Manufacturing Practices

 

Requirements:

• 
  Previous experience as a maintenance technician (3+ years); manufacturing setting is a requirement
• 
  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must have previous Hydraulic experience, Electrician experience a Plus
• 
  Strong decision making, problem solving, troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
• 
  A team player who constructively contributes to a positive environment and is able to work alone
• 
  Good interpersonal communication skills
• 
  Excellent technical skills, mechanical aptitude and ability
• 
  Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and effectively meet deadlines
• 
  Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
