About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: Acute care facility experience preferred. Minimum years of experience not specified. License: Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice required. Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Facility-specific BLS certification required. Must-Have: Experience in EPIC required. Description: Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment. Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyzes assessment data in determining diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and promotes a safe environment. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Collaborates with the patient, family, and healthcare providers in care provision. Provides learning opportunities for patients and team members. Directly provides health information to patients and their families. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to safety and wellbeing requirements for all associates and patients.
