Role Description The Area Director of Revenue Management is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing revenue performance across a designated portfolio of properties. This position analyzes market trends, demand patterns, and competitive data to develop pricing strategies and inventory controls that maximize revenue and profitability. The Area Director collaborates closely with property leadership and sales teams to align revenue strategies with overall business goals, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance reviews. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring key performance metrics, preparing revenue reports, recommending rate and distribution adjustments, and providing strategic guidance on channel management and promotional offers. The role also involves training and mentoring property-level teams in revenue management best practices and ensuring consistent implementation of EPIC’s standards and methodologies. Qualifications Strong Revenue Management and Revenue Analysis skills to design and execute effective pricing and inventory strategies. Robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make evidence-based recommendations. Experience in Sales and collaboration with commercial teams to align revenue strategies with market opportunities. Proficiency in Budgeting and forecasting to support financial planning and performance evaluation. Proven experience in multi-property or multi-market revenue management, ideally within hospitality or property management. Advanced proficiency with revenue management systems, Excel, and data visualization tools. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions remotely. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification in revenue management is a plus. Systems knowledge: Experience across PMS, CRS, and RMS platforms is important. Familiarity with systems such as Stayntouch, Opera Cloud, Mews, Cloudbeds, SynXis, iHotelier, Duetto, IDeaS, or FLYR is a plus.
