About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 06:30-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience as circulator Patient advocate as circulator while being a resource for the sterile field Description: Travel RN position available in the Operating Room. Role requires experience in Ortho, Total Joints, Neuro, and Robotics. On-call shifts are required, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift over a typical 8-week sign-up period. The unit consists of 11 ORs with a staffing model that varies based on the day. Day shift staffing averages 8 RNs, 8 Scrub techs, and 5 Surgical support techs. Night shift consists of one charge RN and one scrub tech in-house with call team backup. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1. Equipment used includes a variety of OR beds and equipment, with EMR being Epic. Typical procedures performed include Total Joints, Multi-level spine fusions, and a variety of Xi Robotic cases. Desired candidate should possess a positive outlook and be willing to collaborate with team members. Weekend availability is needed, and participation in on-call shifts is required as stated.
