About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Must have current RN license Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred, CNOR preferred Must-Have: No first-time travelers accepted Description: Registered Nurse with experience in the Operating Room is needed. Candidates must have a valid RN license. Shifts are 3x12 days, start times will vary. Experience in a Level II trauma environment is required. Travel experience is also required. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and CNOR are preferred. Candidates must be willing to work weekends. Duties include assisting in surgeries and maintaining patient safety. Knowledge of various surgical procedures is essential. The role may require some floating to similar units. Additional responsibilities may include patient monitoring and collaboration with the surgical team. Candidates must be prepared for on-call duties as needed. Specific skills in scrubbing for various surgeries will be beneficial. All time off requests will be evaluated on an individual basis. The hospital operates with a focus on trauma, pediatrics, and general surgery. Candidates must be willing to adhere to hospital policies and protocols. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
