Job Highlights

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients ranging from children to elderly adults leveraging established assessments and observational methods.
• Craft tailor-made treatment strategies that focus on both immediate objectives and enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver personalized therapy sessions that emphasize language, communication, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, families, and caregivers to create a seamless care approach.
• Educate patients and their families to reinforce progress beyond clinical appointments.
• Partake in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions to ensure a continuous care experience.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation conforming to all regulatory bodies and organizational standards.
• Remain informed about the latest developments in the field through ongoing education and teamwork with peers.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications Required

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
