We work with high-growth B2B AI companies, many of them backed by prominent VCs including a16z, GV, LightSpeed and Menlo Ventures. Currently, clients operate in sectors such as enterprise AI, AI infrastructure, robotics/physical AI, analytics and fintech. About the role We're looking for a Public Relations Account Supervisor with strong media relations skills and a focus on the B2B technology sector. You'll need media relationships you can describe specifically, a feel for the news cycle, and domain expertise in the tech sector. The position is responsible for media strategy, timely news pitches and media outreach. Understanding the business and tech trade media, technology trends and how clients fit into them is vital. You'll sit in a senior marketing team well-versed in PR and digital marketing. Our PR work feeds our GEO programs, so part of the job is understanding how earned media affects where clients show up in AI search, and being able to explain that to a client. This role reports to our SVP of Media Relations and typically works across four clients. Responsibilities Media relations. Building relationships with and pitching relevant media (tech, business, trade, vertical, online and broadcast), newsjacking and rapid response Client management. Working directly with clients daily, advising on strategy, implementation, status and performance of PR programs Influencer relations. Research and outreach to relevant influencers, including industry analysts, academics and thought leaders Content creation. Press announcements, blog posts, media pitches and thought leadership material Speaker and awards programs. Identifying key conferences, speaker placement and awards submissions Social media. Organic campaigns, primarily LinkedIn Agency. Supporting new business pitching, content creation Measurement. Reporting programs to industry best practice using our own custom apps Requirements 4-6+ years' relevant PR experience, ideally in an agency Solid academic track record at least to Bachelor's degree level Working fluency with AI tools, and a real example of a workflow you've rebuilt with them Good presentation skills in front of C-level execs Unflappable, practical, proactive, mature approach Creative, disciplined, curious, organized 20 days' vacation Health, dental and vision care Company 401(k) with 3% non-elective contribution The agency is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
