Warehouse Team Lead

Position Overview Warehouse Team Lead – Franklin, Indiana. This role offers weekly pay and a career you can feel good about. Compensation & Schedule Hourly Pay $22.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Equipment & Products Products handled: HVAC products Equipment: stand-up reach and sit-down forklifts, order pickers, walkie riders Benefits Weekly pay Safety gear provided State-of-the-art equipment Caring leadership Important Note Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred One year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred One year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred One year or more Microsoft Office experience preferred One year or more warehouse experience preferred Knowledge and experience with an RF scanner – advanced required Valid forklift operator’s license certified Strong verbal and written communication skills Effective leadership skills Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational skills Proactive approach to responsibilities Maintains composure under pressure Knowledge of health and safety methods Bilingual (for Quebec locations only) Responsibilities Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of operations. Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. Allocate resources and organize daily work duties for team members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics. Inspire and guide team members toward improved KPI’s using appropriate leadership styles. Assist in providing orientation and necessary information, technology, and tools to new employees. Promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse. Handle daily paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.). Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels. Perform other duties as assigned.
