General Manager – Chicago Build, Lead, and Win with Redi Carpet. Overview Lead a dynamic operation in Chicago, ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and strong client relationships. Drive revenue growth, team development, and compliance. Responsibilities Operate the business, managing Sales, Administration, and Operations departments. Ensure all branch employees follow company policies and procedures. Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with key customers. Oversee strategic action plans for direct reports and enforce company policies. Conduct monthly sales meetings, establish local pricing strategy, and manage monthly sales projection reports. Recruit, hire, develop, and mentor all direct reports. Monitor P&L statements, achieve budgeted sales and income goals, and meet annual sales and expense budgets. Drive compliance of all company initiatives and support regional and national account programs. Analyze and investigate solutions, making decisions based on professional methods. Lead a team of professional contributors and supervise support staff. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Minimum of 2 years management or sales management experience. Preferred 7+ years of experience in a related field. Ability to manage P&L and achieve budgeted goals. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Experience developing and executing local pricing strategy. Experience & Education BS/BA in a related discipline. 7+ years of related experience; advanced degree may offset less experience. Certification may be required. Work Environment Indoor office setting. Spending majority of time seated; occasional lifting of light items. Travel less than 10% of the time, typically overnight.
