Safety Manager

Site Safety This position will coordinate and administer Site Safety Programs for compliance with federal, state, local and company safety and occupational health standards and procedures. It will provide safety resource support for assigned operating units, including training and permitting, and lead or participate in incident investigations, emergency response, site inspections, and job safety analyses. The role requires maintaining jobsite documentation and ensuring all employees return ‘Home Safe’ each shift. Duties & Responsibilities Assist in the safety planning of work activities. Participate in field safety walk‑downs. Provide safety leadership of contractors, subcontractors, and evaluate occurrences. Required Skills & Abilities Strong presentation skills. Proficient computer knowledge, including graph presentations. Strong attention to detail. Ability to write reports and procedures. Excellent organizational skills. Strong understanding of loss control fundamentals. Strong leadership skills. Team player. Education & Experience Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent and 5–8 years in construction safety. CHST Certification preferred. Familiarity with construction safety practices. Experience with near‑miss and accident investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions. Prior work on U.S. Department of Energy complexes preferred.
