Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing

IDR is seeking a Senior Indirect Strategic Sourcing Manager to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role involves leading strategic sourcing initiatives with a focus on marketing vendor categories within a dynamic financial organization. Position Overview for the Senior Indirect Strategic Sourcing Manager: Responsible for executing complex RFX events, including RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs, within the digital procurement space. Lead strategic contract negotiations and drafting to optimize vendor relationships and procurement efficiency. Manage digital-specific vendor categories, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence C-suite stakeholders to achieve sourcing objectives. Support the organization’s investment in innovative solutions by providing procurement expertise and cost-saving strategies. Requirements for the Senior Indirect Strategic Sourcing Manager (Marketing-focused): Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain or strategic sourcing Experience executing complex RFX (RFP, RFQ, RFI) events Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing C-suite stakeholders Extensive experience specifically within the marketing sourcing category What's in it for you?
