Operations Specialist

SBS Creatix is hiring an Operations Specialist to support a major financial services firm's New Accounts team in St. Louis. Join a high-volume operations team that keeps the firm's W-9 and Substitute W-9 documentation accurate, timely, and compliant. Responsibilities

• Support W-9 and Substitute W-9 operational workflows, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Review, process, and resolve W-9 and Substitute W-9 documentation issues in accordance with firm policy and regulatory requirements
• Manage and execute day-to-day operational needs of the firm in a fast-paced, production environment
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and help refine procedures
• Develop and implement operational procedures and policies as needed
• Prepare and present operational reports to leadership
• Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in operations, document processing, or a related role
• Proven experience working in a production environment
• Strong attention to detail — small errors have real consequences in compliance-driven work
• Analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay organized when the volume picks up
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Comfort with data management, process documentation, and regulatory awareness
• Adaptability — priorities shift, and you can shift with them

Education

• High school diploma required
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting tax documentation, financial operations, or regulated processes
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as USNA, Pega Wise, and Salesforce
• Prior experience in the financial services industry
