Ghost Isle Brewery is New Buffalo’s newest, family-owned brewpub. This unique and beautiful establishment will provide a full bar, 10-barrel brewery along with a spectacular wetlands view, fully covered patio, outdoor activities and live entertainment. We are looking for friendly, energetic, hard‑working, and fast‑paced server(s) to join our team to create a memorable, one‑of‑kind customer experience for our guests. If you have a passion for craft beer, hospitality, and fresh food, we want to hear from you! We have both full‑time and part‑time opportunities available. What you will be doing: Greet and welcome our guests in a timely fashion with a genuinely friendly approach Share our knowledge and passion for craft beer and fresh food with our guests Educate patrons on seasonal items, craft cocktails, & Ghost Isle beers Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner Proactively engage the guest when delivering food or beverages Collaborate and communicate with management when guest issues arise Participate in our “Clean As You Go” policy to ensure high level of cleanliness throughout the entire restaurant - which includes pre-bussing all tables in the establishment Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies Complete any opening, closing, and side‑work assigned to you What we look for: Positive attitude Hustle Teamwork Integrity & Respect Accountability Calm Under Pressure Salesmanship High Sense of Urgency High Level of Professionalism Knowledge of safe food handling and restaurant safety best practices What we require: High school diploma and/or GED Strong customer service & interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills Ability to stand on your feet for up to 8+ hours Mental capacity to utilize computer POS system Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, days, weekends & holidays What we prefer: Strong passion for craft beer 2+ years of hospitality, sales, or customer service experience Be a team player: offer and ask for help when needed Willingness to go “above & beyond” for our guests Be coachable and desire to learn & grow at our establishment Showcase your unique personality and connect with our guests Promote Ghost Isle Brewery brand & town of New Buffalo, MI Job Type(s): Part-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
