Quick Facts Location: Bismarck, ND Start Date: 07/30/2026 Schedule: 8-hour days, generally between 8 AM - 4 PM, with evening, weekend, and holiday call shifts Duration: Ongoing locum coverage Shift: Day shift + on-call (evening, weekend, holiday) Hours/week: 40+ Employment Type: Locum/Temporary Licensure/Certs: ND License required; must meet credentialing requirements Experience: General Interventional Radiology with stroke experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Competitive referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws What You ll Do Perform diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions, including angiography, angioplasty, stenting, and embolization Conduct procedures such as thrombolytic therapy, embolization, biopsies, drainages, and catheter placements Manage complex interventional cases in a hospital setting, including stroke thrombectomy and stroke-related procedures Read and interpret diagnostic imaging in between cases as needed Respond to emergency call shifts, providing urgent interventions during evenings, weekends, and holidays Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Adhere to professional standards and safety protocols in all procedures What You Need Active ND medical license and right to practice in North Dakota Minimum of 2 years' experience in general Interventional Radiology Competency in a broad range of IR procedures listed in the job description Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred: Stroke capability and experience performing head thrombectomy About the Assignment This locum opportunity is with a leading facility in Bismarck, ND, providing comprehensive interventional radiology services.
