Oncology Sales Representative - Memphis, TN

Merck seeks an Oncology Sales Representative for the Memphis, Tennessee territory, including Jackson, Mississippi. The role involves engaging healthcare customers, educating stakeholders about oncology products, and achieving sales goals through field-based activities and relationship building.
Responsibilities
- Attain or exceed assigned sales goals in collaboration with territory team members
- Meet with key stakeholders to understand practice structures, business models, and build relationships
- Communicate compelling, patient-centered product rationale using approved resources and messaging
- Analyze market trends, drug distribution channels, and prescription patterns to develop strategic plans
- Coordinate with Customer Team Leader, Key Account Manager, and other functional areas to ensure consistent customer experience
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 6 years sales experience, or high school diploma with 8+ years equivalent experience
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel 10-15% overnight
- Healthcare, scientific, or oncology field experience strongly preferred
- 2+ years oncology field sales experience selling oncology therapeutics to oncology customers preferred
- Account management, customer relationship management, and product knowledge skills
- Ability to reside in or near the Memphis/Jackson district
