Skilled Maintenance WorkerThe Skilled Maintenance Worker is responsible for providing specific routine, preventive and corrective maintenance of community grounds and property to maintain a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors while providing cost effective maintenance programs.Qualifications:Valid Driver's License requiredHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredTwo years of general maintenance experience preferredExperience or training as electrician preferredExperience in appliance repair preferredExperience or training in plumbing, painting and carpentry preferredExpectations and Responsibilities:Repairs and maintains physical structure and systems of community.Maintains community grounds; may include lawn mowing, trimming, snow removal.Completes all assigned maintenance work orders.Repairs and maintains electrical and utility systems.Performs preventative maintenance.Maintains safety systems, such as: fire alarms, nurse call systems, security).Able to work independently or as part of a team.Effectively read and interpret documents and instructions.Capacity to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve.
