$85,000 - $105,000k; 10% Bonus Job Title: Cost Accountant (Manufacturing / Chemical Industry) Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or chemical manufacturing environments. This role is responsible for analyzing production costs, maintaining cost accounting systems, and supporting financial planning and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and hands‑on experience with inventory, standard costing, and variance analysis in a production setting. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and analyze standard costs for raw materials, labor, and overhead Perform cost variance analysis (material, labor, overhead) and provide actionable insights Monitor inventory transactions, including raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate bill of materials (BOM) and routing data Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations Prepare cost reports, margin analysis, and profitability assessments Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives Analyze manufacturing processes to identify cost‑saving opportunities and efficiencies Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies Support audits by providing cost-related documentation and analysis #J-18808-Ljbffr
