Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Hold a valid Arizona Special Education teaching certificate
• Possess an active IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Previous experience working with elementary students in a resource or inclusive classroom setting
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Commitment to supporting students with varying needs through creative, evidence-based strategies

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver daily instruction in alignment with students’ IEP goals, adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers to ensure an inclusive and supportive classroom experience
• Develop, monitor, and update student progress and document data accurately
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and ways to support learning at home
• Foster a positive classroom culture that champions student achievement and confidence
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team sessions, and professional development opportunities
