Qualifications & Skills:
- Current Special Education Teacher certification (required)
- Experience working with elementary caseloads preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents
- Commitment to individualized instruction and inclusive classroom strategies
- Familiarity with compliance, documentation, and collaborating with billing contacts
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, and deliver instruction to students with a variety of learning needs
- Write, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure successful student integration
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education
- Accurately prepare and manage required documentation, including communicating with billing contacts
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings to support student success
