MONTICELLOAM, LLC and its affiliates ("Monticello") is a real estate and asset-based lender providing asset management and comprehensive capital solutions for healthcare, multifamily, and commercial real estate assets throughout the US. We are seeking motivated, collaborative professionals who bring creativity, compassion, and a strong work ethic to a dynamic team environment.

We are looking for a property manager for an apartment building located in Westchester County, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of an assigned multifamily property in Westchester County, ensuring it is well-maintained, compliant, and operating within budget.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, responding promptly to inquiries, concerns, and service requests to drive resident satisfaction and retention.
• Collect rent, manage delinquencies, and enforce lease terms, coordinating collections and any eviction proceedings with legal counsel as needed.
• Prepare and manage the property's annual operating budget; monitor income and expenses and report variances to ownership and asset management.
• Coordinate and supervise on-site staff and third-party vendors for maintenance, repairs, landscaping, and capital improvement projects.
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety issues, and opportunities to enhance property value.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local housing regulations, including Fair Housing requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare timely operational and financial reports for ownership and asset management.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in residential property management, preferably multifamily.
• Proficiency with Yardi property management software.
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and applicable federal, state, and local housing regulations.
• Demonstrated financial acumen, including experience preparing operating budgets, managing rent collections, and producing financial reports.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in real estate, business, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with a resident-first service orientation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently on-site.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Monticello offers a competitive base salary and bonus. The base salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $130,000/year. The specific compensation that will be offered is based on an understanding of the hired candidates' qualifications at the time of hire.
