This role serves as the trusted second-in-command to Owner/Operator Wayne Murphy, partnering alongside him to lead the business, develop leaders, and execute the restaurant's vision of impacting and influencing the Orangeburg community. More than a traditional General Manager, this opportunity is designed for a leader who desires ownership, thrives on developing people, and wants to learn every aspect of operating a successful Chick-fil-A business. You will gain exposure to strategic planning, financial management, and long-term business decisions while helping lead one of the most respected brands in the restaurant industry. Your Impact Oversee all daily operations, ensuring excellence in food safety, customer service, speed, and hospitality Partner closely with Owner/Operator in evaluating the health of the business, identifying opportunities for improvement, and executing strategic initiatives Lead and develop the restaurant’s leadership team across the Front of House, Back of House, and Administrative departments Manage and inspire a team of 100+ team members, driving alignment with core values and operational goals Build trust and credibility with the leadership team by coaching, mentoring, and leading through influence rather than authority. Promote food safety and workplace safety through consistent systems and team training Drive profitability by identifying operational inefficiencies, reducing waste, and supporting strategic growth initiatives Foster a healthy team culture by addressing performance and interpersonal issues directly, using established coaching frameworks Partner with department Directors to strengthen collaboration, develop talent, and ensure every leader is equipped to succeed Must be located or willing to relocate to Orangeburg, SC (required) 5+ years of progressive leadership experience leading high-performing teams in restaurant, retail, hospitality, military, healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, or other operational environments (required) Previous Chick-fil-A leadership experience (highly preferred) Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Passion for Chick-fil-A's values Desire for a long-term career within Chick-fil-A #J-18808-Ljbffr
