Contract | Full-Time | Nights (19:00–07:30) | 36 hours per week | Rotating Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional nursing functions including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a perinatal/Labor & Delivery setting
• Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care in accordance with established Standards of Nursing Practice
• Operate within an LDRP model, providing comprehensive care across labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
• Promote cooperation and effective communication among the interdisciplinary health care team
• Monitor fetal status using advanced fetal monitoring techniques in compliance with AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring standards

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (required)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor (required within 6 months of hire or transfer)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor (required within 6 months of hire or transfer)
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course required upon hire and every two years for experienced nurses; novice L&D RNs will complete AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring during the first 6–8 months of orientation, then AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring every two years thereafter
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• No on-call requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working within an LDRP care model
• Familiarity with CNA-represented nursing environments
• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and communication skills in a fast-paced perinatal setting
