Security Shift Supervisor - Weekends

Shift Supervisor - Unarmed Location: Greenville, SC – Overnight Shift, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM (part‑time). Starting base pay: $19.57 per hour. Minimum age: 21 years. Minimum of 2 years security experience. Strong customer‑service skills and comfort using a computer or tablet are required. Resume preferred but not required. Weekly or daily pay options available. State‑funded training, uniforms, and training at no cost to the employee. Responsibilities: Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders Provide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding performance of duties Cross‑train officers to improve versatility and operational efficiency Recommend productivity and cost‑reduction measures to management Recommend physical security surveys and post orders Recommend personnel actions for those under direct supervision Oversee staffing, scheduling, and on‑site training for officers assigned to your shift Ensure contract‑required training and screening elements for security personnel are met Maintain overtime at minimum or to a predefined level designated by Allied Universal® Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting personnel and their job performance when assigned to your shift Perform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders) Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws; may be required prior to employment Current and valid driver’s license Must possess one or more of the following Associate’s degree of higher in any discipline Service in the active‑duty military, military reserves, or National Guard Service in auxiliary police or police cadets Minimum of one (1) year verifiable and successful security experience Minimum of two (2) years verifiable work experience demonstrating the following Excellent customer‑service skills Ability to maintain poise and self‑control during emergency situations Capability of understanding and applying written and verbal orders, and of composing reports Effective oral and written communication skills; write informatively, clearly, and accurately Planning and organizing skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications Problem‑solving skills Coaching, mentoring, motivating skills Active listening skills Encourage effective teamwork Assess and evaluate situations effectively Synthesize facts, concepts, principles Identify critical issues quickly and accurately Compile, sort, and interpret data Research, investigate, compile information Mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy Set and achieve goals Attend to detail Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Emergency Management Systems, FEMA Incident Command Certification; ICO 100, 200, 300 Working knowledge of EMS protocols, Medical First Responder, or Emergency Medical Technician Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance Enrollment in company’s 401(k) plan, subject to eligibility requirements Seven paid holidays at time and a half, if worked 40 hours of vacation after one year of employment at eligible work assignments; unused vacation is paid out only where required by law Equal Opportunity Employer Allied Universal® is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
