This is a full-time opportunity and on-site in Brentwood, TN. Job Category : Clinical • Requisition Number : RNEMT002102 Locations Brentwood, TN 37027-8077, USA Responsibilities Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare patients for examinations and procedures according to physician preferences. Record vital signs of patients, including pulse, blood pressure, height, and weight. Perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, holter monitors, etc. Assist physicians with procedures; administer medications and provide patient education. Handle phone nursing tasks as appropriate, including triage, pre-certifications, referrals, prescription calls, etc. Perform clerical duties to support physician workflow; contact patients regarding test results or other related matters as directed. Pull and prepare patient records for physicians to treat patients, as needed. Schedule patient appointments when needed to optimize clinical time slots. Maintain stocked, neat, and clean exam rooms and related work areas. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (including OSHA and HIPAA) and site-specific protocols. Demonstrate professional conduct and maintain confidentiality with patients and staff. Participate in site-level Quality Improvement activities to evaluate performance and improve care quality. Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor, Site Manager, physician, or Administrative staff. Qualifications Education: Graduation from an accredited program in practical nursing or medical assisting.
