What You Will Do
As a Prep Cook you will
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards
- Wash chop slice and portion food items
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Label date and store food properly using FIFO methods
- Maintain a clean organized and stocked workstation Support the culinary team to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Assist with basic cooking tasks as needed
What We Are Looking For

- Reliable and able to work in a fast paced kitchen environment
- Organized with strong time management skills
- Detail oriented with a focus on consistency and quality
- Positive respectful and team oriented
- Able to follow directions and kitchen procedures
- Preferred
- Previous kitchen or prep cook experience
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
Certifications Requirement
Must obtain a valid Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire Must maintain all required certifications in accordance with state and company guidelines
Physical Requirements Essential Job Functions
This is a physically demanding role Candidates must be able to
- Stand and walk for extended periods up to 8 hours per shift
- Frequently lift carry push or pull up to 50 pounds food supplies and equipment
- Perform repetitive motions including bending reaching and twisting
- Work safely in a fast paced kitchen environment
- Handle knives equipment and cleaning chemicals safely
- Maintain stamina and focus during peak service hours
