Job Description This is a relationship driven sales role with long‑term income potential through commission. We know building a client base takes time, which is why we offer ramp‑up earnings support during your first months as you grow your pipeline and book of business. New Agent Ramp‑up Incentive: $2,500. This supports your transition by providing additional income as you develop your pipeline and build a strong foundation for long‑term success. Success in this role comes from: Consistent outreach Proactive engagement with prospective clients Strong follow‑up Community networking Building trust with clients Location Colorado Springs, CO Position Schedule Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5:30 pm MT (one rotating Saturday a month, 9:00 am‑1:00 pm) Position Summary The Auto Club Group is seeking Insurance Sales Agents to drive new business, retain existing members, and grow ACG’s insurance book through a range of competitive product offerings. In this role, agents use consultative sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer‑focused service to assess needs, recommend coverage, close sales, and build lasting relationships with members and prospects. Key Responsibilities Use sales techniques and strong product knowledge to identify customer‑specific needs to generate new sales, retain existing insureds and grow our overall insurance book of business. Effectively overcome objections to close the sale and/or retain the insured. Work to meet or exceed targets as defined in the sales incentive plan and as assigned by the Insurance Sales Agent’s manager. Conduct insurance review for clients to identify a range of suitable products. Use provided tools and applicable underwriting guidelines to assess risk, recommend appropriate products and related coverage, quote, bind and issue policies. Engage in market‑based interactions at business establishments and other convenient locations to solicit new business, create and expand business networks and build rapport critical to establishing customer satisfaction, loyalty and affinity to the AAA brand. Respond to customer inquiries and requests relating to insurance, membership and financial products. Qualifications Required: High School diploma or equivalent Current Property & Casualty Insurance license Current Life Insurance Sales license Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products Obtain Health and Accident licenses and appointments where applicable as deemed necessary and within a time frame established by the Business Unit 1+ year(s) of sales or customer service experience Experience that sets you up for success: Strong sales skills with a history of effectively developing, tracking, following up on and closing leads Advanced consultative selling techniques utilizing thorough product knowledge Strong phone sales and prospecting skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills combined with strong customer focus Ambition, motivation and drive Knowledge of desktop systems including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office software applications Excellent listening skills and ability to understand customer needs Work Environment This is an in‑office position. Employees will service ACG members in‑person and are based on site at an ACG branch facility. Compensation & Benefits Overview ACG complies with all applicable state and local laws regarding required benefits (including PTO, paid sick leave, etc.). Compensation Average annual earnings $60,000 – $80,000+ A guaranteed hourly rate of $21.63 (annualized rate of $45,000) plus commissions and bonus opportunities. This position is also eligible for overtime. Company match of 50% paid on employee contributions up to 6% of pay, payable to employees following the end of the year; immediate vesting. Additional company contribution of 4% of pay each pay day into your account; 100% vested after three (3) years of service. Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) options Time Off & Leave Paid Time Off (PTO): Accrual‑based, increases with tenure, eligible at 90 days of employment. Full‑time new employees will receive up to 12 PTO days annually; accrual based on start date and may include additional PTO based on role and/or state & local requirements. Part‑time employee PTO hours are calculated based upon the standard weekly hours the employee is scheduled to work and will accrue at a minimum of 3 hours per month. Paid Holidays: Full‑time employees are eligible for 10 company‑paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day, 2 floating holidays and 1 volunteer day. Holidays vary by business unit schedules. Part‑time employees are eligible for 8 company‑paid holidays annually, in addition to 1 mental health day and 2 floating holidays. Holidays vary by business unit schedules. Paid leave programs, including parental, bereavement, jury duty, and military leave.
