Clinical Details & Responsibilities

Setting: Inpatient hospital

Facility Information:

• Level III Trauma Center
• 40-bed facility

Responsibilities Include:

• Admit inpatient hospital medicine patients
• Round on assigned and unassigned patients
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute medical conditions
• Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary teams
• Complete documentation using Epic EMR

Patient Volume:

• Approximately 12-14 patients per 12-hour shift

• Collaborative hospital medicine team
• Established inpatient workflows

Requirements

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - Required
• Active Wisconsin medical license - Required
• Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) physicians welcome
• ACLS certification - Required
