Requirements:

• 2 years OR experience (Level I trauma experience required)
• CVOR scrub experience (scrub and circulate)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Transplant experience (liver, kidney, pancreas) desired; heart and lung transplant experience required for night shift
• Experience with CensiTrac for instrument tracking
• Pending license accepted

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and assist in surgical procedures within the cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular specialties.
• Prepare the operating room for surgery, ensuring all necessary instruments are present and functioning.
• Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and effective communication among surgical teams.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during surgery.
• Enter any missing instruments into the tracking system as part of workflow.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to best practices in infection control.

Compliance / Notes:

• No more than 7 days of RTO (per period rules); no RTO first week of assignment.
• Fit testing may be required; facial hair must allow for proper fit testing.
• Medical/religious exemptions for flu vaccine only.
