Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the CVICU in SaintLouis, Missouri. Job Overview Specialty: CVICU. Discipline: RN. Duration: Ongoing. Employment Type: Staff. Facility: 6-bed CVICU. Responsibilities Promotes patient and family‑centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and their families on illness or injury management, home‑care needs, and medication administration. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and the patient, family, or caregiver. Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care. Assesses patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs. Works as a safety‑sensitive employee, maintaining constant alertness and safe behavior at all times. Qualifications Minimum: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Registered Nurse license. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; ICU experience; CVICU experience preferred.
