Role Description The Medical Assistant – Procedure Room is a part-time, on-site role based in Scottsdale, AZ. This role supports clinicians during interventional pain procedures by preparing procedure rooms, organizing supplies, and ensuring proper sterilization and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include rooming patients, verifying medical history and medications, updating electronic medical records, and providing pre- and post-procedure patient education. The Medical Assistant will assist with vital signs, positioning patients for procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and coordinating with the medical office team to support efficient patient flow. This role also involves responding to patient questions, communicating clearly with the clinical team, and adhering to all practice protocols and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Medical Assisting skills, including vital sign measurement, room preparation, and direct support during procedures. Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology to accurately understand, document, and communicate clinical information. Candidates should possess experience in a Medical Office setting, including scheduling support, coordination with clinical staff, and familiarity with practice workflows. Candidates should possess Patient Care skills, such as compassionate interaction, patient education, and ensuring comfort and safety before and after procedures. Candidates should possess competency in managing Medical Records, including accurate charting, use of electronic health records (EHR), and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA. Additional beneficial qualifications include completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, current MA certification, prior experience in pain management or procedural specialties, strong communication and teamwork skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stand for extended periods and assist with patient positioning. #J-18808-Ljbffr Integrity Pain and Wellness
