About the RoleAs Event Director, you will lead the strategic planning, delivery, and growth of a major manufacturing event within the RX Global portfolio. You will set the vision for the event experience, work across diverse teams, and use insight and creativity to deliver strong outcomes for exhibitors, attendees, and partners. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver a clear strategic plan to drive event growth and an excellent customer experienceLead end-to-end event management, including concept development, budgeting, delivery, and post-event evaluationWork across a matrix of teams including sales, marketing, operations, and registration to ensure seamless executionShape the overall event experience, designing engaging programs such as workshops, seminars, keynotes, and networking activitiesManage event budgets, balancing cost efficiency with quality and impactUse data and insights to measure performance against KPIs and identify continuous improvementsBuild and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, exhibitors, and attendeesRepresent the event at industry gatherings to strengthen visibility and develop new relationshipsRequirementsExperience leading and delivering large-scale events with accountability for outcomesStrong project and budget management skills, with the ability to manage complex timelines and multiple stakeholdersClear, confident communication and relationship-building skillsA creative, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detailAbility to adapt quickly, solve problems, and perform well under pressureConfidence working in a matrix environment and influencing across teamsWillingness to travel and work non-traditional hours aligned to event schedulesWork in a Way that Works for YouWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organization.
