Marketing Analyst

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Analyst supports the organization through data-driven analysis of market trends, product performance, and pricing strategies. This role provides actionable insight to support strategic decision making. Analyze market trends, customer activity, sales performance, and competitive data to support strategic business decisions. Manage point-of-sale reporting to support vendor relationships, collaborating with sales and product management to highlight actionable analysis of product trends. Support product lifecycle analysis, including product performance, market positioning, and growth opportunities. Assist in pricing analysis, margin reviews, and profitability evaluations to support marketing initiatives. Create, maintain, and distribute reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to track key performance indicators and marketing goals. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and present findings to leadership. Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned. Demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities by identifying issues and recommending effective solutions in a timely manner. COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis functions. Experience working with databases and large data sets. Experience with business intelligence and analytical tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms preferred). Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is a plus. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing Analytics, or a related field OR 3+ years of experience in business analytics or data management Ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable business insights. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. High level of proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
