We are looking for someone to join our production team!Leader in food safety solutions for both contract sanitation and chemistry in the food processing industry.Over 10,000 dedicated team members across North America.Corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA with team members working in over 250 plants throughout North America.Over 50+ years of experience in creating long-lasting partnerships.We protect the food supply by eliminating risks so families everywhere can eat without fear.Protect What Matters: We are in service of safety at every step, ensuring the health of everyone is central to all we do – from plant team members to consumers.Deliver On Our Promises: We speak honestly and are dedicated to doing the right thing by upholding ethical standards and following through on our commitments to our teams, our customers, and our business.Win as a Team: We believe in the power of collaboration, uniting our diverse strengths while working hand-in-hand with our team members and customers to unlock potential and achieve stronger results together.Advance a Safer Future: We are committed to innovating more effective, sustainable, and cost-efficient food safety solutions to develop a safer world for all.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Adhere to all safety policies and guidelines; is accountable for their personal safety and the safety of their co-workers.Follow written and verbal procedures and instructions to perform job duties safely and efficiently.Complete initial and routine safety, job task, and compliance training.Be knowledgeable of procedures/policies and adhere to them while performing work assignments.Execute emergency procedures in response to chemical incidents, inclement weather, or other situations that threaten the safety of team members and the plant site.Perform shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, and inventory management activities associated with chemical operations that includes driving forklifts to load and unload filled and empty chemical packages (totes, drums, bags, etc.).Prepare finished products for shipment with proper labels and batch documentation.Ensure products being shipped have no contamination (dirt, product residue, rust, etc.) on the outside of the containers, labels are properly applied and not damaged, and containers are not damaged.Ensure drivers picking up loads properly secure their loads to prevent shifting and damage during transport.Verify driver has proper DOT placards on his trailer for the materials being transported.Accurately record shipping and receiving information in electronic devices and on paper documents.Cohesively work with team members across multiple departments.Perform daily inspections and report maintenance work needed on equipment used routinely (forklifts, stretch wrappers, drum banding, yard dogs, isotainers, tankers, railcar and truck unloading stations, bulk product loading stations).Maintain a clean and organized workplace.Perform duties required to comply with SQF and housekeeping standards.Safely utilize and operate equipment to produce and package products including the following:PPEForkliftsWeigh scalesBarcode scanning devicesHMIs and PLCsDesktop/Laptop computersPerform any other related duties as required or assigned.Your Must Haves:Must be 18 years of age or olderHigh School Graduate or General Education Degree ("GED")1 years of experience with forklift operation.Experience with first-in, first out (FIFO) shipping/manufacturing procedures.Experience verifying warehouse paperwork (shipping labels, lot numbers, certificates of analysis (COAs), etc.).Ability to understand documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Knowledge of basic math- addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Utilize common sense in order to carry out written, oral or diagrammed instructions.Strong communication skills (oral and written).What We Prefer You Have:Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly chemical manufacturing.Job experience that requires adherence to written procedures, use of PPE, and knowledge of Lockout Tagout (LOTO) and Safe Work processes.Our Environment:This position is based in our manufacturing plant environment. Expected exposure to wet, hot, cold, various shifts, requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Constant (role requires this activity more than 66% of the time (5.5+ hrs/day) Use of fingers and hands. Lift/Carry 10 lbs or less & push/pull 12 lbs or less.Frequently (role requires this activity from 33% - 66% of the time (2.5 - 5.5+ hrs/day) Stand, climb stairs, walk, sit, reach outward, squat/kneel, bend. Lift/Carry 11-50 lbs & push/pull 13-40 lbs.Occasional (role requires this activity up to 33% of the time (0 - 2.5+ hrs/day) Climb & crawl.
