Manager of College & Career Readiness The Manager of College & Career Readiness provides strategic leadership, coordination, and oversight for districtwide initiatives that advance college, career, and postsecondary readiness for all students. The position supports the development, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of programs and systems connected to Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), dual enrollment, Career & Technical Education (CTE), and Work-Based Learning (WBL), and extra‑curricular programming. Performance Responsibilities Lead and support districtwide college and career readiness initiatives aligned to the Red Clay Strategic Plan objective 1.3. Lead a team that coordinates programming and supports connected to Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), and dual enrollment coursework. Support equitable student access to rigorous coursework and postsecondary opportunities. Collect, monitor, analyze, and report data related to Delaware School Success Framework college & career readiness accountability measures, student engagement metrics, and postsecondary outcomes for all students. Facilitate collaboration with colleges, universities, business partners, community organizations, and the Delaware Department of Education. Provide leadership, oversight, and continuous improvement for Career & Technical Education programming across grades 6–12. Pilot the growth and continuous improvement of the district's Work-Based Learning program. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations connected to Perkins funding, vocational funding, programs of study, Student Success Plans, and Work-Based Learning experiences. Coordinate districtwide course offerings and school course selection guides. Support district grading policies, academic planning procedures, transcript processes, and graduation audits. Collaborate with school teams to strengthen graduation rate initiatives, student success planning, and rigorous academic progression. Support implementation and oversight of the effective use of the Student Success Planning platform. Provide oversight and growth of student leadership and engagement initiatives connected to college and career readiness. Support extracurricular activities, clubs, and student government organizations. Support EPER‑related processes connected to student activities and programming in partnership with school and district administration. Coordinate district graduation processes and related logistical planning. Partner with the Communications Office to promote student opportunities as they relate to college and career readiness initiatives. Ensure effective stewardship and oversight of district resources connected to college and career readiness programming. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Superintendent or the Superintendent's designee. Qualifications Holds a graduate degree in education; preferably in Educational Leadership. Demonstrated building administrator experience (a minimum of 3 years). Demonstrated teaching experience (a minimum of 5 years). High school experience preferred. Holds or is eligible for administrative licensure in the State of Delaware. Possesses knowledge of best practices in curriculum and instruction.
