Summary Overview of Position

Supports management with HR items such as hiring, onboarding, benefits, and training.

Key responsibilities

• Support the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
• Coordinate onboarding for new employees, including offer letters, paperwork, orientation, and system setup.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee questions.
• Support payroll preparation by collecting and verifying employee data, timesheets, and status changes.
• Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, time off, and workplace procedures.
• Help ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Assist with performance review processes, employee engagement initiatives, and training programs.
• Support employee relations matters by documenting concerns and escalating issues as appropriate.
• Prepare HR reports and assist with audits as needed.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive, inclusive, and professional workplace culture.
• Skills and qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in human resources, recruiting, administration, or a related role.
• Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Additional Preferences .

• SHRM-CP, PHR, or related HR certification.
• Experience supporting benefits, payroll, onboarding, or employee relations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment..
