HR & Safety Coordinator (Part-Time)
Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week (flexible scheduling available)
Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR & Safety Coordinator to support our daily Human Resources and Safety operations. This part-time role will assist with payroll, employee records, staffing coordination, onboarding, and workplace safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will serve as a reliable resource for employees and supervisors while helping ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Review and maintain employee timecards and attendance records
- Assist with payroll processing and time-off requests
- Maintain accurate employee files and HR documentation
- Support onboarding processes and new hire paperwork
- Coordinate temporary staffing needs and communicate with staffing agencies
- Assist with workplace safety programs, including incident reporting and workers’ compensation documentation
- Support HR reporting, employee communications, and benefit administration
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
- Previous experience in HR, administration, payroll, or office support preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in HR, office, customer service, or administrative roles preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus
