Job Description
As a Security Officer Credential Desk Operations in Fremont CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more. As a Security Officer supporting an automotive location you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols help to deter incidents and assist with access control and badge processes. You will provide outstanding customer service communicate clearly with employees and visitors and support a welcoming environment. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns according to established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout automotive manufacturing production warehouse and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor employee and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
- Document incidents observations and completed patrols accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
