Senior Mission / Systems Engineer (ONSITE)

Senior Mission / Systems Engineer – Applied Signal Technology Location: Anaheim, CA (On‑Site). Requires active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and U.S. citizenship. What You Will Do You will collaborate with R&D specialists on system development and deployment projects that protect national security. Your responsibilities include: Generate briefings and present material to team members, customers, and management. Participate in decision‑making processes and propose innovative solutions to advance products. Coordinate with development teams to resolve design, development, and testing discrepancies. Maintain integrated test plans, execute tests, and document results. Travel up to 25% as required. Qualifications Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of Systems Engineering experience. Experience designing, developing, and testing custom hardware and complex software systems. Hands‑on experience with Linux operating systems and debugging. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to identify and resolve issues throughout the system lifecycle. Effective communication with customers, end users, and cross‑functional design teams. Willingness to work weekends and nights as needed for integration and testing. Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required before start date; U.S. citizenship mandatory. Preferred: Knowledge of Fiber Optics, RF or Telecommunications standards. Experience with high‑speed processing hardware or complex control software. Background in developing training courses and training others. Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash. Experience creating test scripts to automate integration. Ability to formalize requirements, plans, and procedures based on customer interactions. Involvement in bid and proposal activities related to system development.
