Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer (Sharepoint/Exchange experience) - 100% onsite

Duration: Permanent

Location: IRVINE, CA

· 5+ years’ experience administering Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure in virtual and physical environments.

· Proficiency in Microsoft System Center Suite of products (SCCM/MCEM, SCOM etc.)

· Proficiency in administering Active Directory preferably in a multi domain and OU environment.

· Proficiency managing Group Policies to implement and enforce standards.

· Experience with PowerShell or other scripting language to aid in administration of duties.

5-7 years’ experience as a SharePoint Engineer in a large corporate environment with emphasis on high-availability and uninterrupted 24/7 environment.

Hands-on experience in support / administration / engineering SharePoint infrastructure (Web, App, DB servers).

Only the SharePoint infrastructure services is withing scope of this position, Administration of SharePoint sites is not within scope. We are migrating to SharePoint SE.

And / OR

The Exchange Administrator’s role is to ensure the stable operation of the entire Messaging environment. This position has roles in: planning, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all hosted Exchange software. Because of the inter-connections of the messaging system knowledge of peripheral systems and protocols such as, Email Gateways (Exchange), Email Archiving solutions, Mobile technologies will be given higher consideration. The Messaging Administrator will work in a team environment where team work, effective communications and accountability is of the highest importance.

· 5-7 years’ experience as an Exchange Engineer /Admin in a large corporate environment with emphasis on high-availability and uninterrupted 24/7 messaging services.

· Hands-on experience in account creations/deletions, password reset requests and refreshing distribution groups

· Troubleshooting calendar (Microsoft O365)

· Proven experience with email security

· Support the administration of corporate email and Exchange application’s environment, which comprises Exchange high availability services.

· Experience/knowledge using cloud technologies particularly Office 365.

· Experience in archiving solutions

·

Required Skills

· Advanced experience with Exchange and Microsoft 365.

· PowerShell scripting proficiency.

· Email Security experience.

· Demonstrated proficiency of Active Directory, network and Internet concepts (e.g., firewalls, load balancers, web browsers, TCP/IP, SSL, LDAP, etc.)

· Effective analytical, planning, organizational, problem determination and resolution process skills.

· o365 Administration and Migration a plus.

Education / Experience

· Technical Degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

· 5+ years’ experience in Exchange Messaging environments

· One of the following certifications is a plus to have:

o MCSE or MCITP (Microsoft Certified IT Professional (Messaging)

MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solution Associate) working towards MCSE
