The Pool Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse - Pool DPC RN is a licensed professional able to demonstrate the following proficiency and mastery of the core competencies: assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership and service who delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing and promoting evidence based practice standards of quality, safety and service. Estimated pay range for this position is $47.00 / hour depending on shift as applicable.

Qualifications:
The Pool Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse - Pool DPC RN is a licensed professional able to demonstrate the following proficiency and mastery of the core competencies: assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability, leadership and service who delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing and promoting evidence based practice standards of quality, safety and service. Licenses & Certifications:

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
• Basic Life Support.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
• Registered Nurse.

Additional Qualifications:

• Associates degree in Nursing or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• RNs hired prior to 2/1/2012 (South), 10/1/2017 (Bethesda), 10/1/2023 (Boca), 7/1/2018 (Fishermen's) are not required to have a BSN to continue in their non-leadership role as an RN.
• RNs hired after 2/1/2012 (South), 10/1/2017 (Bethesda), 10/1/2023 (Boca), 7/1/2018 (Fishermen's) with an Associate's degree will have 3 years from their date of hire to complete the BSN degree.
• RN must complete a preceptor class within twelve months of being deemed competent by department leadership for independent practice.
• Required to work minimum shift including weekend and holiday requirements as outlined in nursing staffing policy.
• As per department standard any of the following may be required (ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support, BLS- Basic Life Support, PALS- Pediatric Advanced Life Support, NRP- Neonatal Resuscitation Program or ONS-Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card).
• 18 months experience required.

Minimum Required Experience:

• 18 Months of acute care experience required
• Experience with cardiac drips required
• Experience with Cerner highly preferred

Degrees:

• Associates.

Licenses & Certifications:
