Dispatcher

We are looking for a full-time dispatcher at our Middleburg Heights location. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with TowBook Knowledge of towing industry and commercial vehicles Customer service experience in a high-pressure environment. Familiarity with local geography Responsibilities: Receive and process incoming towing service requests via phone, radio, or digital platforms promptly and professionally. Assess the nature and urgency of each request to prioritize dispatch assignments effectively. Coordinate and dispatch tow truck drivers to appropriate locations, providing detailed instructions and necessary information. Maintain communication with drivers to monitor job progress, address any issues, and update customers as needed. Document all dispatch activities accurately, including call details, driver assignments, and service outcomes. Collaborate with management to optimize routing and resource allocation for improved operational efficiency. Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Maintain knowledge of local roads, traffic conditions, and regulations to support effective dispatch decisions.
