About the Role Retention & Merchandising Strategy Manager—strategic role defining vision and approach for our subscription and loyalty programs, improving retention and growing LTV, translating data into clear recommendations and initiatives. Works closely with Digital Product, Integrated Marketing, and the broader business. Full‑time, company benefits, based in Marina Del Rey, CA. Base compensation $95,000–$120,000. What You'll Do Define the strategy and roadmap for our subscription and loyalty programs—identifying opportunities to reduce churn, deepen engagement, and grow LTV—and work with the Digital Product team to execute. Own performance monitoring across retention, subscription, and loyalty—building and maintaining reporting cadences that surface early signals and inform both short‑term actions and long‑term strategic priorities. Develop and maintain LTV:CAC and retention modeling frameworks, translating complex data into clear business recommendations. Inform the merchandising strategy for subscription and loyalty—deciding which products and low‑price drops members can access, offer design, and exclusive assortment—in close partnership with the web team. Support the A/B testing roadmap for retention and site monetization initiatives, developing hypotheses, defining success metrics, and driving decisions from results. Build business cases for new initiatives, synthesizing performance data, customer insights, and market context into clear recommendations for leadership. About You 2–4 years of experience in management consulting, ecommerce, consumer brand, agency, or tech. Highly analytical—comfortable building models, interpreting data, and constructing a clear business case; experience with Looker or similar BI tools a plus. Strategic thinker who can also execute; able to move forward without perfect information and work cross‑functionally. Fluent with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, or similar) and comfortable using them to work faster and smarter. Clear communicator with strong written and verbal skills; comfortable presenting to leadership. Experience with subscription, loyalty, or DTC ecommerce preferred; Shopify a plus.
