Position: CNC Machine Operators
Pay: $21.00/hour
Shift: 1st shift, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
Location: University Park, IL
Schedule/Shift Details:
- The position is scheduled for Monday to Friday, with the last Saturday of each month required.
- Occasionally, work may extend to the 3rd Saturday of the month.
- Possible 10-hour shifts may be available.
- Set up and operate CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Manual Lathes, and Grinders.
- Machining parts according to drawings, specifications, and material requirements.
- Read blueprints and technical instructions for machine setup and operation.
- Perform machine calibrations, tool offsets, and program edits.
- Maintain production records and ensure quality standards are met.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a CNC or machine operator.
- Basic math and blueprint reading skills.
- Technical training preferred.
- Experience with CNC programming, machine setup, and manual lathe/mill operations.
- Micrometer reading and precision measurement.
- CNC machine setup and operation.
- Programming and editing machine programs.
- Blueprint interpretation.
- Working knowledge of G and M codes, tooling, and machining processes.
