Schedule: 2nd and 3rd shift positions available
Pay Rate: $22.00 - $27.00 an hour, depending on experience

CNC Horizontal Mill Operator Job Description:

• Set up and operate CNC horizontal milling machines to manufacture precision components
• Load and unload materials and finished parts from CNC equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and machining specifications
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and adjustments
• Monitor machine operations, speeds, feeds, and tooling to maintain production and quality standards
• Inspect in-process and finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and close-tolerance specifications
• Use precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other inspection tools
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues and make necessary machine adjustments
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and routine equipment checks
• Complete required production and quality documentation
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all company safety procedures

CNC Horizontal Mill Operator Job Requirements:

• Previous CNC horizontal mill experience required
• CNC machine setup experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of tooling, offsets, speeds, and feeds
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machining specifications
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
• Experience working with close-tolerance machined parts
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain production and quality expectations
• Ability to stand for the majority of the shift and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
