We are driven to be the best.SUMMARY: Use a CNC lathe to maintain tooling for both Mills. Use the Shop Floor program to print out mill schedules. Enter requisitions for capital tooling and maintain tooling set-up charts for both mills. Archive tooling drawings. Use micrometers to measure tooling dimensions. Use a forklift and chain hoist to transport Turk's heads to the mills.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintain cutoff dies, install new jaws for each mill changeoverSort cutoff blades and cutoff jaws for regrindingOperate a CNC lathe, Fanuc panel (G-code) to polish and regrind rollsOperate forklift and chain hoistReplace bearings on all idler rollsPrepare tooling set-up carts for each mill changeoverMaintain, breakdown, and reset dead targets, flash rod assemblies, Turk's head clevises, spacers and weld roll clevisesOTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Maintain regular and reliable attendanceWork cooperatively with others to ensure constructive and productive business relationshipsComply with all Company policies and proceduresUnderstand and effectively use computerized systemQUALIFICATIONS:Ability to lift 50 poundsAbility to operate a forkliftComputer literateWork well in a team-based environmentREQUIREMENTS:Associate degree or completion of an apprenticeship program in machining and CNC or 2 years of relevant experienceStrong verbal and math skills (converting fractions and decimals)Strong shop math skillsAbility to read tooling drawings and enter roll dimensions in Fanuc control panelAble to work overtime and/or various shiftsAble to work in an environment without climate controlThis job posting does not comprise an exhaustive list of all functions that this employee may be required to perform; the employee may be required to perform additional duties/functions as assigned.Bull Moose Tube is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
