Reads and interprets detailed and complex instructions to produce the desired forms.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Following the safety policy, including PPESetting up and operating press brakes and other equipment on a variety of parts of all shapes and sizesChecking products against standards for conformance to specificationsFollowing specifications in job orders, verbal instructions, and blueprintsObserving machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctionPerforming minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or workpiecesEmployees are responsible to comply with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures.Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.QualificationsEducation and experience requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum of 2 years of related experienceKnowledge, skills, and abilities requirements:Math skillsAbility to read blueprintsKnowledge of standard and metric measurementsKnowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniquesSelf-motivated and detail-orientedTeam orientationCrane operation certification requiredForklift operation certification requiredLOTO certification preferred, but not requiredAvailability to work on Saturdays as neededAbility to read, write, speak, and understand the English languageADA requirements:Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.Standing: Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.Pushing: Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward.Pulling: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to-position.
