Manual MachinistWe are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist with a proven track record in machining brackets, fixtures, and other components for food processing machinery. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to operate various machines and fabricate parts based on detailed blueprints and sketches.ResponsibilitiesOperate mills, lathes, saws, presses, grinders, and other machinery.Perform lockout tagout procedures on machinery to ensure safety.Create and fabricate parts using blueprints and sketches.Conduct setups on all machinery and ensure proper operation.Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications.Inspect and verify parts using precision gauges such as micrometers and calipers, and dial indicators.Conduct equipment checks and maintenance at proper intervals to ensure optimal performance.Essential Skills3+ years of experience as a manual machinist.Proficiency in operating mills and lathes.Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical sketches.Ownership and use of personal tools.Experience with precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with troubleshooting and saw operation.Ability to create basic drawings by hand.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic and collaborative team environment where you work alongside skilled machinists, welders, fabricators, and mechanics.
