Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP) or PCA/CNA (MALE)

Who provides care, support, and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them maintain independence, achieve personal goals, and participate fully in their communities.

 

Schedule:

• 12PM - 7PM - Monday to Wednesday
• 12PM - 6PM - Thursday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Support community engagement and participation in social, recreational, and educational activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with medication reminders as directed by the care plan.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Document services provided and report any concerns or changes in condition.
• Promote independence, dignity, and self-advocacy.

Qualifications

• Experience working as a personal care aide(PCA)/CNA , DSP or similar field.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain empathetic to patient needs.
• High attention to detail.
• Certifications that may apply.
• Willing to be part of our ON-CALL Team for $17 rate per hour
• Rate is $15.00 per hour
• We are looking for someone to work in Virginia Beach
• We are looking for someone who can work part-time and full-time

• 3PM - 11PM - Every other Saturday, Sunday - $16/hr
• 11PM - 7AM - Every other Saturday and Sunday - $16.75/hr

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in day-to-day activities
• Ensure patients receive their proper medication in a timely manner
• Communicate with medical professionals about patients' health or issues that may arise
• Prepare and administer meals in accordance with dietary needs

 

Qualifications

• Experience working as a personal care aide(PCA)/CNA or similar field.
