Fulfillment Line Lead
Great company starting a new fulfillment function seeking a player/coach who will be their Fulfillment Line Lead!!!
Mon-Thu 6:00a-4:00p, temp to hire - Four Days a Week. Pay starts at $19.50 per hour with opportunity to bump to $20.50 after 4 weeks.
This position is in Florence, KY. Good benefits, including company provided lunch on Thursdays! Our client is a global leader in the foam abrasive products industry serving some of the biggest names in consumer products.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Job Order Oversight: Be responsible for the 15 person fulfillment team to ensure they have the right products, packaging for their job order each day. Work alongside the team to help them improve and master the work. If someone is out, be able and willing to job ni and work the job yourself, as we are a lean team, where everyone helps out.
- Team Attendance Tracking: Be responsible for tracking the hours worked for each of the associates and accurately reporting that for payroll hours. This includes monitoring breaks and ensuring associates are back from break in a timely fashion.
- Order Fulfillment: Build, stage, and allocate orders on the warehouse floor, pick/pack items, and prepare them for outbound shipment.
- Shipping & Receiving: Unload bulk raw materials, inventory parts, and complete packing slips.
- Quality & Logistics: Inspect products for defects and ensure accurate shipping weights, dimensions, and labels.
- Warehouse Care: Maintain finished wrapped/labeled skids and keep the workspace clean and organized.
Requirements
- Organization: Be able to properly track the jobs being worked on, the attendance status, the progress on the job and report any issues to management.
- Foster Team Work: Success in this fulfillment operation requires the associates to work as a team and be flexible to move to the work based on demand and labor availability.
- Maturity: Clear level-headed person who can problem solve and know when to escalate issues to management. Someone who is positive and uplifts the team is important.
- Fulfillment and Lead Experience: Both are preferred, but willing to consider someone who perhaps has just one of those and is willing to be a player coach, working alongside the team.
- Bilingual English/Spanish: Preferred to accommodate the range of our workforce.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.50 - $20.50 Per Hour
