Schedule/Availability Requirements:

Shift times: 12 hours 0900-2130 (somewhat flexible start)

We are looking for someone to work 3 12 hours per week. The shifts may include some weekends but no holidays. There is 1 other Full time NP currently.

Schedule: Thurs, Fri, Sat schedule weekly

Dates of coverage: ASAP start once credentialed for 3-6 months.

NO CALL

Setting: Telemetry and Pre/Post Cardiac Unit

FTE: 0.9 (full time)

Duties: Individual functions independently, in collaboration with Cardiologist/Hospitalist to manage the care of pre and post procedure cardiac interventional patients. Facilitates the progression of the cardiac interventional patient from admission to discharge post procedure.

Required Procedures: None

EMR: Cerner

Support Staff: Works in collaboration with nursing, care coordination, physicians

Reason for Coverage: Long term LOA and need to cover until the position can be replaced.

Deal breakers (do not present this): Looking for NP with recent hospital experience caring for cardiac interventional/surgical patients to fill this role.

• AANP Certified - REQUIRED
• Active CA license - REQUIRED
• Active ACLS, BLS, DEA, PECOS - REQUIRED for credentialing
• Must disclose provider availability (# of shifts per month) - REQUIRED
• Must be available for the length of assignment and dates - REQUIRED
• Clean Malpractice/Background - REQUIRED
• Disclose if provider has worked at any other CHI/Dignity facility - REQUIRED
• COVID VACCINATION - REQUIRED
